From its state-of-the-art, purpose-built premises in The Hague, the Netherlands, the NFI provides products and services to a wide range of national and international clients.
To make sure that its work remains at the forefront of developments, the NFI invests heavily in Research and Development. In this way, it lays the foundations for the innovative forensic methods and technologies that will play an important part in the coming decades. The NFI also maintains close relationships with industry, knowledge institutes and universities.
White paper Trends, Challenges and Strategy in Forensic Science
The NFI's CEO Dr. Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi has written a paper discussing his experiences and observations about governance of a modern forensic science organisation. The paper provides an analysis of the current trends and challenges in the sector and describes the NFI's answer to them.
