Professor Zeno Geradts
On 1 September 2014, Dr. ing. Zeno Geradts was appointed to the special chair of Forensic Data Science at the Faculty of Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science of the University of Amsterdam.
The purpose of establishing the special chair is to give fresh impetus to the cooperation between the NFI and the Informatics Institute (IVI) of the university. They have been developing methods which enable forensic analysts to select relevant data from large databases in a speedy and responsible manner. Geradts is the liaison between the NFI and the IVI. His contribution is expected to result in further improvements in quality and time savings.
