The NFI signs agreement for performing case investigations in Curaçao

In the coming three years, the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) will perform case investigations for the Ministry of Justice of Curaçao. An agreement to that effect was signed on 17 February 2012 by representatives of the NFI and the Ministry of Justice of Curacao.

After Aruba and St. Maarten, Curaçao is the last country of the former Dutch Antilles to have signed such an agreement with the NFI. Representatives of the Police Force and the Public Prosecution Service of Curaçao have indicated that they wish to have the NFI perform the case investigations in view of the positive experiences with the NFI's services and quality.
