White paper on Trends, Challenges and Strategy in Forensic Science
The Netherlands Forensic Institute's CEO Dr. Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi was asked by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to write a paper discussing his experiences and observations about governance of a modern forensic science organisation.
The paper provides an analysis of the current trends and challenges in the sector and describes the Netherlands Forensic Institute's answer to them.
In November 2012, the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) and NIST signed an agreement in order to advance technologies, methods, practices and standards in the forensic field.
