CEO NFI visits Costa Rica
Dr. Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi, Chief Executive Officer of the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI), recently spoke at the International Congress of Forensic Science (Congreso Internacional de Ciencias Forenses) in Costa Rica about the current trends, challenges and strategy in the forensic science sector.
In his plenary speech he described his experiences and observations about governance of a modern forensic science organisation to directors and managers of Spanish and Latin American forensic institutes and to forensic scientists. Tjin-A-Tsoi has written a white paper on this subject by request of the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This white paper has been translated to Spanish for this occasion, and is available for download from this website.
